Life can get busy with work and other commitments, and so you can’t be with your dog all of the time. Home on the Farm's dog daycare provides a loving, fun, safe, family environment so your dog will enjoy their day while you take care of your tasks.

The day will include one main group walk in the morning, followed possibly by a shorter walk in the afternoon providing your dog is able - other activities will be provided otherwise. There will also be an opportunity for playtime in the garden with Meinir & Rusty, and any other dogs who are there are the time.

Home on the Farm is a daycare from home - meaning your dogs will be in the cozy surroundings of a loving home - a true home from home experience for them.

There'll be plenty of interaction between your dog and others - humans and pups! Also lots of enrichment activities - followed by fuss, naps and cuddles!

Prior to your dog's first day at daycare, you will come to meet with Meinir & Rusty at Home on the Farm and take a look around.

Puppies over 6 months are welcome to attend daycare, but a few important considerations must be met to ensure a safe and positive experience. Your puppy should be reasonably housetrained. They must have completed their vaccination schedule, including any necessary boosters, to keep all dogs protected. A good understanding of basic commands, such as sit, stay and basic recall is important for safe interaction with other dogs. Additionally, your puppy should be comfortable and social around other dogs—if they’re still adjusting, we can arrange a gradual introduction to daycare. Finally, it’s essential that your puppy's energy levels align with the daycare environment, so they can play and rest as needed throughout the day. These guidelines help us create a safe and enjoyable space for every dog.
