Home Boarding

For small and medium breed dogs under 15kg

£35 per dog
£25 per additional dog from the same household
+£5 per puppy under 12 months old

Leaving your beloved dog while you go on holiday, an event or for work can be a really worrying thing to do.

Home on the Farm's Home Boarding service helps to alleviate any worries or concerns you may have. Rest assured that your dog will be treated as part of the family when they come to stay.

Before you go away, you and your dog will come and meet Meinir & Rusty. You will let us know all about your dog - what they like, what they don't like, what their feeding routine is, what their sleeping routine is and lots more. We want your dog to feel comfortable, relaxed and excited - so they can have a holiday all of their own.

Each day will include one main group walk per day, followed possibly by a shorter walk in the afternoon (providing your dog is able - other activities will be provided otherwise). There will also be plenty of opportunity for playtime and interaction in the garden with Meinir & Rusty, and any other dogs who are there are the time. And then when the time comes - naps and cuddles on the sofa!

Home Boarding is charged per day, and a day begins at 9am, and is charged until 9am the following day.  Please note that we do not offer a collection / drop-off service for home-boarding.

A Meet & Greet appointment and a Registration and Consent form is essential and will need to be completed prior to your dog coming to stay.

All dogs are required to be up-to-date with their annual vaccinations.

Home Boarding is only available for dogs who attend daycare regularly. One overnight stay is advisable prior to any longer durations of boarding, such as you going away on holiday. This is to help put your mind at ease and allow your dog to become familiar with their surroundings.

Home Boarding is only suitable for dogs that are comfortable in the company of other dogs, and can settle comfortably in a home setting.  It is recommended that dogs arrive at 9am on their day of arrival, with 4pm being the latest drop-off time allowed. This is to allow your dog the time to settle in.

Please note that for Home Boarding periods which include a Public Holiday, the Public Holiday is charged at time and a half. For bookings over Christmas, New Year and Easter further charges apply, please ask for details.
